ACC Update Major Release 1.10

On April 1st, 2024, Kunos (developer of Assetto Corsa Competizione) surprisingly released a major release update to version 1.10 for PC in addition to the Nürburgring DLC. Unfortunately, there was neither a corresponding advance announcement nor release notes that would have given an idea of ​​the resulting, far-reaching changes for all setups.

What's the problem with major release updates?

Such large updates, known as "major releases", usually affect all aspects of the game, including vehicle characteristics, driving physics, balance of power measures, etc. Unfortunately, this means that almost every vehicle setup has to be readjusted, adjusted, and optimized for every track and different conditions.

Therefore: New major release means completely new setups

All of our setups include free updates for the current major release of ACC at the time of publication. If a new major release of ACC comes out, i.e. the new version 1.10, completely new setup packs will be available in the shop, marked with the new version number. As long as the old version is still current for consoles, we will still release updates for the old setups if necessary, but our focus is of course on the setups for the new version, which we will deliver to you as quickly as possible and in the usual quality.

Are the old setups then a waste?

As soon as you update to the new version (which is mandatory with Steam), the old setups are still usable and mostly still driveable, but they are of course not as optimal as those for the current ACC version. So unfortunately there is no alternative to buying setups for the new version.

I recently purchased setups for 1.9x, what now?

We are very aware of the frustration that it causes when you have just bought a setup pack for version 1.9, but it is now only partially usable and is no longer being developed. As already mentioned, we are also surprised by Kunos and therefore have no way of warning you in advance or even removing setups from the shop if it is foreseeable that a new major release is coming.

BUT: We wouldn't be RennWelten if we didn't try to do something about your frustration and make it as easy for you to purchase the new setup packs as possible.

Therefore, we will reduce all setup packs for version 1.10 by a flat rate of 30% off the regular price until the end of May 2024. In addition, customers who have purchased setup packs in the last 90 days will receive an additional discount with the discount code ACC-1.10-Discount , which you simply enter at checkout.
